Keeping you even more updated... Posted on 03 Jul 2008 by MofearThe sprites are completed! Thanks to our fellow staff member Orion for inspiring me to think outside the box and find a way to complete them in a more efficient manner. It actually allowed me to finish in a matter of hours rather then weeks. Thank you all very much for your patience as we work hard to release the game! I have no doubt that this release will be the best yet!
Keeping you updated... Posted on 30 Jun 2008 by KousatenI'm still waiting on the source core to be finished before I can actually make any programming process. Development on classes is finished and pretty well-balanced in pure stats alone, and I intend to find some time to finish the tile sets and the rest of the basic development eventually. I've got all of next week off as a "summer break" so I'll try to squeak in some work then during my catching up on all the lost sleep.
Mofear has been working on the sprites, I guess. Haven't gotten a status report, but he's one of the people I trust most in the community. That's why he's on the staff, as well as an Administrator.
Xexes has done quite a phenomenal job on the site development, and I'm quite impressed with how that's all going. It's actually getting better each time I see it which amazes me beyond belief. I envy those skills, I truly do, and I'm glad we'll be seeing Xexes' work put to use here in Sakuramisora.
As I answer e-mails, keep up with the forums, and try to debug the apache server stuff I've come across my idea for a third Administrator. I've already got the perfect person in mind for the job, and chances are extremely high they know who they are already. It'll be something I'm going to think through over the week though, just to be sure it's beneficial even on an administrative stand-point. The relevance of this? A third news editor and community leader, basically.

Forums Fixed Posted on 22 Jun 2008 by KousatenWe had a little problem with our MySQL databases earlier this afternoon, and even none of our subdomains had access to them. By doing some minor repairs on the databases themselves though, we've fixed the errors and everything seems to be working just fine.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Tile Sheets Posted on 19 Jun 2008 by KousatenI'm finally getting around to revamping the tile sheets from the base level. Every single tile graphic is now ensured 100% RMXP, so we'll have much easier time at blending maps for a beautiful display.
Each tile sheet is a maximum of 1024x1024 pixels, so I'm having to basically put four RMXP tile sets in each and filling space with the "auto-tiles" I feel that are appropriate to be used such as roads, swamps, waterfalls, etc.
Still waiting on the base source to be finished, but we're getting a lot of update news coming in on it so it's definitely being worked on. :D Then I can do my thing and we'll be all good to start working on game play for the rest of you!
